LEAGUE GAMES
        U8, U10, U12, U14
      - Scrimmage in December
      - Games on Saturdays, Jan 11 - Feb 22, 2024
      - End of Season Tournament for U8, U10, U12: March 1, 2024

        High School Team
      - Scrimmage in December
      - Games usually on Fridays, occasionally on Saturdays
      - First match on January 10 thru Mid-February 2024

In MatchFacts, parents should create a new account in parent's name, then use this account to register your player(s).

After you register, you will be invited to the Club's TeamSnap account which will have the practice schedule and details.
Registration fees include all USAR & SCYR league fees, Thunder practice T-Shirt, fields for practice & games, referees & athletic trainer at games, game hosting, coaching, club equipment. For U8 - U14, also includes game shorts, game socks.

Eligible HS: Oceanside HS, El Camino HS, Carlsbad HS, charter schools. If you are from another HS, email info@thunderrugbyclub.com to confirm you're eligible to play on HS before registering.

Can I try rugby before registering?

You can try rugby at our free rugby clinics in October.


My child is small for his/her age, can he/she play down in a lower division?

It depends. Please email info@thunderrugbyclub.com for more information.


Do you offer sibling discounts?

Because the club works to keep fees low for all players, we do not offer sibling discounts.


Do you offer financial aid?

We do offer financial aid for families in need. Financial aid funds are limited and is accepted/reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. The financial aid program is offered to those meeting the guidelines. You will need to provide proof of current income and comply with the Terms & Conditions. Do you offer refunds?

Yes and no.
The league does not offer refunds so portion of the fee is non-refundable. As a club, we only refund a portion of the fees if you cancel before the first game minus the $25 administration cost AND minus the $60 cost for gear. If you cancel after the first game, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund.
